France has always been amazing to me. I love the way businesses especially the restaurants carry themselves. Everyone seems to compete with one another and want to outdo each other in their cookery. This time around a friend of mine when in Lyon wanted to show me what real cookery is all about. Thus, he invited me out for dinner to Restaurant Thomas.
Here they have some authentic cooking and they specialize in seafood’s, game meat and vegetables like mushrooms. Each season has its own special meal preparations. They do also have special group arrangements for groups numbering eight to forty people. This can be arranged conveniently. For our meals we had grilled Breton lobsters and roasted fowls. My partner had the audacity to ask for extra helpings in fish and I did have the chance to taste this as well. It was purely out of this world.
For those in love with drinks, this is a place you will not be disappointed at all. They have vintage wine and champagnes in white wines, sparkling wines and red wines. For those in love with strong drinks, some aperitifs are on offer as well. As for me I went for the white Gin and some Rum. My friend had his specialty La Rosine by Stephan Ogier full red wine bottle. Absolutely amazing!!
